usually bucktons hp

last yr another un branded hp

then add peas, wheat, barley, or all three depending on time of yr

or races i want them for (the straights are from the farm).

last yr local farmer sold 90% of his maples to versa-laga.

i suppose they polished them and sold them back to us.

i have never used swainstons and never will just dont like the look of it ,i dont care what price i pay for feeding(even if it goes to £20 a bag)  ,most on here will spend more on a round of drinks on a friday night than a bag of quality corn . .ps im using bucktons winter economy just now and its only £620 a bag and is A1. remember it is winter /resting time .

I agree with what you say but I still cant believe that the quality of corn in a £5 bag is going to be as good as one costing £15.

i think theres no right or wrong here,, i would EXPECT to find the dearer bag better quality,,and if it wasnt , i would soon complain.

i have seen cheap bags really unfit for pigeons,, rubbish,,kept in the most unhygeinic, damp dirty conditions,,,   but have also seen cheap bags, stored and kept in the proper conditions, and of good quality, well worth the money, but very rarely nowadays :)

using gibb's of galston winter mix at £7.50 mixing it 50/50 with farm barley £3 a 25kg bag birds and droppings spot on,lifted 13 cards in the local club show with over 110 birds of an entry in 8 different classes  so i don't think the price matters just the quality of the ingredients

I live about 5 miles from Swainstons, have been using their feeds for years.

Quality does vary from year to year , at the moment all are good clean feeds, barley is top notch.

Won Lillers and Clermont.
