have seen grated cheese been fed with corn on continent , but never heard of mince , but b12 is given to pigeons because of the lack of meat protein in the diet , i suppose in the wild odd insect and slugs and worms would be eaten , however dont think ill be rushing to feed either  ;)

Does anyone know what part of the sheep the fat comes from?  I am assuming you don't just cut it off your average lamb chop.  So if eg I go to my butcher, what do I ask for?
