Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I HAD PIGEONS COLLECTED ON THURSDAY LAST WEEK AND THEY FAILED TO DELIVER THE BIRDS TO ME EVEN THOUGH THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE AND MY GRANDADS AND HAD THE BIRDS ON BORED THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND SAID THEY WERE DOING ME A FAVOUR NOT CHARGING ME THE REDELIVERY CHARGE (£15-£20) WHEN IT WAS THERE FAULT.
Roland Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Must make a chart here I feel. Five / six / 7 columns or so, NAME: COMPANT / BRILLIANT / GOOD TO GREAT / FAIR / POOR TO BAD / COMMENTS Can't put up the grid... Not as clever as Dovescote in this regards.

Guest j.bamling Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I have used them once but i dont think i would use them again !!! they have no comunication with either the buyer or seller and they take to long to deliver !!!
ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 well they should be removed from rpra list at this rate
Gaz Jennings Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 I have used them twice now and i cant fault them, they picked up after 6pm when i was home from work and delivered 9am next morning on both occasions.
T_T Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Just this minute spoken to them and they are prepared to pick up for me on Monday but don't deliver until Weds. Poor service as far as I'm concerned. Seems to be a lot of hassle, bring back Amtrax.

Roland Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 bloody pathetic mate they call themselfs coueirs i would bill them for birds at double the cost of each Aren't we jumping the gun a bit here! Haven't seen a post back yet, let alone whether he is on line yet. Golly don't need much rope to hang a few on here does it! Personally I'd like the full particulars before I casted stones around.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 as tyskes sent birds he knows how they were and if disgusting then thats how it is
Roland Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 well they should be removed from rpra list at this rate Golly Chris, are you implying 'One Swallow makes a Summer'? Or more like from one line you draw a universe eh. Let's hear a bit more from the FIRST poster, and then ask the couriers what's what and why, and then relate to facts accordingly. Golly Taffy's just had another leg of beef!
ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 thursday pickup delevered tues not bad is it should not be allowed

ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 well not from me they wouldent
tskyes Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 WHEN I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER OF COOPERS LAST WEEK HE DIDN`T SEEM INTERESTED IN THE BIRDS WELFARE AT ALL HE WAS JUST BOTHERED ABOUT GETTING HIS MONEY AT THE OTHER END,HE SAID HE HAS GOT A PIGEON FANCIER WHO LOOKS AFTER THE BIRDS IN THE WAREHOUSE BUT I THINK IT MUST OF BEEN HIS WEEKEND OFF !
DOVEScot Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 well not from me they wouldent That is why some are setting up holding lofts, personally I would prefer birds picked up one day then delived the next without the need for what can go wrong if the birds are mixed with others in a holding loft
retired Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 WHEN I SPOKE TO THE MANAGER OF COOPERS LAST WEEK HE DIDN`T SEEM INTERESTED IN THE BIRDS WELFARE AT ALL HE WAS JUST BOTHERED ABOUT GETTING HIS MONEY AT THE OTHER END,HE SAID HE HAS GOT A PIGEON FANCIER WHO LOOKS AFTER THE BIRDS IN THE WAREHOUSE BUT I THINK IT MUST OF BEEN HIS WEEKEND OFF ! Its a bit worrying as they are meant to be collecting them Distance pigeons i sold for a friend - think they may have to go elsewhere i think its better to judge on ones own experiences but i did try and book coopers ages ago and failed to get a response so think i will stick with what i know
tskyes Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 THAT`S WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS GOIN TO HAPPEN BUT 5 DAYS LATER THEY ARRIVE IN BAD HEALTH
DOVEScot Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Back to the age old senario, none will get it right all the time, some will get it right more than others
