chocolates tend to be breeeders of winners the blues pencils checkers will win they cross well but pure pretty useless from my experience , i also bought for the colour but as it was the chocolates i wanted i got rid  ;) i had won with klack and busheart crosses one cock multiple prize winner he bred a few winners himself ;)

hi jakjak i have some vdb mulemans,1 from higginson here are a couple of mine,dont think im hijacking your thread mate as im not,the birds look cracking mate and are a credit to you hope they breed you some of the goods.

The muelmans cross fantastic with the old janssen strains,i had some through gerard schlepphorst in the late 90s,why people fail with them winning is they are more interested in there purity,adam if you really want these pigeons to breed top winners cross them with the old vos de byter red foxes or the van riel blood.The winning lines are locked up there somewere you just need to let it out by putting another related line into them.

Gaz,love the 2 pencil cocks mate,they would fill a loft with top birds if you bang 2 van reet hens into them.

they will be crossed with 2 kellens x van loon x vdb hens this year ,i would agree though that the van reets would go well with any  VDB/Muleman as a cross.
