jimmy white Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 approx 40 birds missing due to hawk attack at the borders area last wed ,, these bird were attacked by a perigrine[seen it kill one] and dived for cover , into trees gorse bushes etc, so far only 3 home ,another perigrine appeared about the same time,,,,,i feel responsible as i had taken them, > these birds belong to 4 different members ,,,,most are shu,07 p 58??,,,and shu 07 p 51?? ,,,,and gb 07 z 82913 please contact me if any are found ,, these birds were well trained and flew 3 races my phone no is 0131 440 0484 ,,or pm .. thanking you ,,jimmy

celtic Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Amazing thing this afternoon , the bird came back late afternoon, shattered, went to let some older birds out today and off it went and flew for roughly 40 minutes as if it was feeling 100%, eating and drinking fine, these birds really do surprise you sometimes.
