whenever i paired in december i had heating in loft that season`s racing was the best i ever had old bird &  young bird.   :)

how do you get rings on their legs if their sitting now say 2/3 days ,sitt 17 days to hatch then 5/7 days to ring thats about the 25th /27th of dec rings dont come out till 1st jan ?

I don't have to worry about that thankfully as mine are for releases not racing

Start pairing up the last week in January. No point before, as unlike the Belgians who start racing youngsters at the start of May, we don't start till the last week in July. Your only wasting money on feeding for a couple of months and the probability of them being finished before they start.

Had the best intention to pair up december, but with only seeing the birds wed afternoon, and weekends, im no where near, so will be after blackpool i think now. No Rush i suppose :-)

They all have life rings and phone number rings. Joined RPRA last week (because I didn't know any better) so I can get my own ones.
