gd call john , i think people forget how much brian done for this sport and how he was ahead of his time really and he was also fantastic at sprint racing . also think your right about brian sheppard and mark gilbert . and i think in twenty years time when this question gets asked alot will put mark gilbert then lol

not very good memories on this post you mention j.biss a few times i think i have a good memory regarding good fanciers in past and not a mention of the fear brothers there birds is responsible for a lot mentioned on this post

Hall of Fame for me would include

 

Dr Anderson - not only was he a top fancier but his name is steeped into the history of long distance racing in Scotland.

 

Eddie Newcombe - brought a new level to long distance racing in Scotland and could be said the UK

 

John Kirkpatrick - top fancier but though his death was a long time ago his name and strain? lives on long in the pigeon sport.
