lightning fast Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 THINK YOUR RIGHT ALAN DID'NT AYRTON MARSHALL HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH BREEDING HIM BEST 300 MILER EVER Quote from the racing pigeon He is bred down through mainly pigeons of Janssen blood, with his sire being bred by Morgan & Harrison of Tynemouth from their Marshall pigeons, which of course are from the Ayton Marshall lofts now run by Theresa and her two sons since the passing of Ayton, of fond memory. His dam came via Warren Foster’s sale at Barnsley a few years ago through Klak and Pouw Bros bloodlines, which is the combination which produced this magnificent cock, who will go down in history to sit alongside ‘Mons Hero’, as a very special pigeon.

Guest phillip Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 Good day all . I only opened this thread a few minutes ago . I also bred weird colours of a pair . The photos of the hen I posted last year (Dunn pied & the cock a Bluebar pied ) The result , a Cock near white with blue saddleback & the Hen white with only a black tail . The hen bred out of a pair Blue pied Jannsens & the Cock Goosenxdr Linnsen . Is this unusual or how often does this occur & how will the white YB,s perform come racing season ??

Guest stb- Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 IN the early 80,s i had a cuople of very pied busschaerts which breed chqs and dark chqs blues etc for years most were only chqs blues with the odd tic and w f on them . then in 1990 breeding i nearly got a flock of seagulls about 75% of them were very pied that year . the pied can lay dormant for a good while obviously .

This is a first for me . I cannot wait to test these whites outside the loft compared to the other YB,s , as I never had whites before and was told they are only good as bait for the BOP .
