how was it bred , ie what breeding and what did it win , was it a consistent scorer

 

SNFC GOLD AWARD WINNER,5 times top channel winner lowest position 106th open,6000 birds in those days,bred and raced by the legend jock allan of symington. ;) ;) ;):) fantastic bird was framed and had pride of place in jocks living room. ;):)

Handled it in its prime was of small to medium in size and i think he was feminine looking when he was young.I remember jock saying that you just needed to make sure he was fed and watered and he done the rest.It wisnae a top producer that i know of but a Great Honest doo as a racer. ;) ;)

his owner also won the  esso blue, mower  long distance  trophy  the same year,  but refused it  as it was the wrong color :o :o     i think it was homer 49   on  here  that presented it .  you can ask him  when he comes on ;D

Oh and by the way his half sister was mill queen i think she was the best breeder jock had both of them were bred from amazing grace she won 1st open lanarkshire fed from Avranches in 1969 i think.The sire of no surrender was a cock Called corky i think he scored three times in the nats.H was of W Wilson of larkhall blood.
