havn't heard of any clubs holding shows over there, there is a south east show society but they won't have eyesign classes.

Might be a bit to far for you Wiley but there is one at Nailsworth in Gloucestershire next Sunday details were in the BHW OCT,17th. I Travelled up to Swadlincote Derbyshire last sunday to one about 150 miles round trip but have travelled much further.

yep bit of a travel, ive never entered a show as never been interested in showing birds however have a bird i reckon can score init so i want to try my chances

Check the Hornchurch club shows Wiley, there was something in the RP about them a couple of weeks ago, Lenny and a few others went along to the one last night.

Another sign of the times i remember when it was not does anyone know of any shows but what one were you going to go to all the clubs used to hold shows once evenings and weekends

 

Sign of our times Rose, Tryed to get a show going in our Club No one was interested.

No one  Showing down our end of the County. Not that I am a showman, but breaks up the winter months.   We lost the "Children in Need" I beleave from NO support :'(

Midland SRS open show sunday 14th Dec at Tipton, advert in this weeks BHW, 2 good eyesign classes and there will be tough competition.

 

We have held some club shows this year which have been well supported, 3 shows so far and made £150 for the club.

i think it is very difficult to get the ideal pic of a pigeons eye, really needs the eye sign  photographic lads for that but good luck to you ryan , hope you can manage to enter a good show ,,,,and win

another sign of the times re, shows , allthough there are still some, most clubs allways held club shows , there was a time up here you could go to a show around the midlothian area allmost every day of the week, not so much now ,, pity as it was a good crack and get together  and very seldom any arguements

Used to be a night out most of us enjoyed going to during the winter months   I didnt realise that they werent holding the children in need show anymore seems very sad that we are losing a lot more now than what we are gaining

 

I think you can only blame the pigeon Fanciers themself's. For not supporting.

Take the Blackpool BWH show, I used to hired & drove a mini bus for 17 years, too the venue, picking up & dropping off people as far as From Eastbourne, Brighton & Somtping,

We all  paid for the Hire & Petrol only. When i retired  no one wanted to do the job. only 3 people from my area are going,  they are going  Thursday coming back on a Monday,  & all are making their own way there.  (it some's like you look after Number one now days)
