Jan Aardens

Raymond Moleveld has a super auction of his very good Jan Aardens and Doncaster on Saturday, these birds are in super condition and there is some real stars in the making, some lovely eyed pigeons as well. They will knock your socks off these.

Bred around the De Tovenaar and De Lightenberg these lines have won well for me, Raymond and lots of Fanciers across the UK including a number of PB members. Starting bids will be from £40 a bird so if you fancy placing a commision bid feel free.

Geoff Kirkland had 8 ybs last year from this line 6 have flown the channel, one winning 4th open and another won Over a £1000. Geoff tells me they are the most exciting pigeons he has introduced for years.

In our breeding you will see the Bonte Koppel, not so well none in the UK this number one pair in Holland from Nico Volkens are more famous than Jester and Carrie. De Tovenaar is a 1/2 brother to the Cock of the Bonte Koppel and Nicole is a dtr of the Bonte Koppel.

Two of the most impressive pigeons that have been produced from the above breeding lines are the Blauwe Burtus 1st National St Vincent 37,239b and De Brive 7700b. The Brive is now responsible for winners upto 700 miles including Arjan Beens 3rd Nat Brive 15,000 plus birds timed in the Dark of Night.

Will say i have three cracking 2 year olds that i bred from a late bred hen that was purchased from Raymond in May 2007, one of which has scored from Eastbourne at 12 months old 387 miles and the other 2 are looking like quality for next years channel season.

Would have to say that when it comes to sales a lot of the time you just have to pay your money and take your chances but with Raymond and Stuart i am of the opinion that your percentages are going to be that little bit higher and at sensible prices.

Hi Stewart,

These look the part, will they match the Hagens and Theelens which I purchased in Essex.  Out of the Six at the sale only one has not bred a winner. :)
