is anyone going to the frank sheader auction in durham on the 24th

can you do that , as all these birds in the BHW will be up in Durham ive never been to  auction like this before , his place is nearer to me than Durham is thats for a fact

ring him and go to his handle between 50 and 100 birds then make your choice ;)

Give Frank  a phone  he is a good guy and you will get to look and handle all his champs you will be made very welcome  and ask him to pick for you he knows the birds  top class birds and a real gent  no airs and graces what you see is what you get

How good a flyer was he when he raced..?? And how long ago did he race..??

Been down to Frank Sheaders place , was made very welcome cup of coffee n biscuits then showed us all the stock birds n allowed us to pick our youngsters straight from the nests. All fo £40 each.

he was the best flyer in this area would take first 6 in club and fed only raced 10 to 12 widowhood cocks he liked sprint racing, it was said he could not fly the distance so he trained a bird the following year singled up from all distances south, sent the 1 bird to bourges 500+mls won club fed nom & all pools, what he does not no about birds is not worth noing, a good honest man.

no better sontjens any where  people might say there is but theres not  just look at whats at stock   i was there a couple of months ago  and i seen and handled them also his kips

yes and most birds at stock he bred himself and bought them back from fanciers that won big time with them mostly unc winners.

No point really going RY if Alan has already visited - There will be many of Frank's sections empty after Alan's visit  ;D

never bought  or came away with any thats not to say there was not plenty i would have taken   and who knows i might order some y/bs for racing  

Frank s  place is like a conveyor belt  the number of UNC  winners   and other big winners  

at stock    well worth a visit   and i hope to get back soon   might even arrange a visit for you Chris  but you would be like a kiddie in a sweetie shop  lol
