Glasgow Federation

Recommended Posts

I'm afraid hope for the future was given up many years ago. We are unable to compete against computers and social media which seem to completely enthrall our youngsters. When you fail to re-energise your hobby by introducing new Members, then decline is the only direction left. We have had an approximate 5% decline year on year since I started in 2009. Add into the mix the BOP problem and this only accelerated said decline.

I think Paul Macaloney hit the nail on the head when two years ago he stated that we should embrace the fact that eventually the whole of the west of Scotland will be one Federation. :)
