eastcoaster Posted July 24, 2020 Report Share Posted July 24, 2020 I had phone call today from a lovely lady who asked me if I kept pigeons my reply was yes the lady said she had found one of my birds and yes it was one of mine lost at Worksop 2weeks ago only for her to say she was in holland and found the bird dead while out cycling with her husband and children and called my phone ring number at this point I thought it was a wind up but no , she said how sorry she was that my bird had flown so far but had such a tragic death,a while later she sent me a picture of the dead bird and another with the bird buried with a little cross and some flowers,And we all think the public don't care ,must admit I was touched by her thoughtfulness.Just thought I would share .
