Looks like the new combine will be up and running from next year, could also be made up as a federation at a later date with 4 to 6 sections for the west this could leave the national with a few less birds, Lanarkshire and Glasgow could combine as central with Ayrshire and Dumfries, and around looking forward transport and cost will see to that, and races would be set out that clubs race from a fair distances each

Lots of talking to do before this happens unfortunatly.

It now needs to happen,as 65 0% of the national race on a east coastal route every year, and have no intention of changing it, and with races been decided by members of costal favour, and race distances of 230 odd mile setting the velocities, for members flying 380 mile that is not national racing national racing for distance should be such you go as a group to a suitable mileage race point within 10 mile into a section and all released at the one time or at a time the birds can make it home on the day 6 sections six race points 6 transporters and your first race starts a 300 mile racing out of the centre of the country each race, it is well known if you want to win a national go down the east coast border. There you can clean the national out of prize moneys all day long

Agree we need a combine , but your post implies that talks are well underway , all we have at the moment are rumblings. nothing set up by way of meetings etc (that I know of) .After Buckingham there was a lot of talk at the clock station by Ayrshire members never in a long time have I heard so many wanting a change .So any constructive suggestions would be welcome im sure , but get it right from the start.

IMO only

Lanarkshire have the best transportation to accomodate a combine , on.but dont rip the hole out it in costs same for every fed in the combine big or small .

Each Fed in any combine to have two combine delegates with equal voting rights.

Each constituant Fed would need to have distances from the same governing body SHU or Rpra as the distances vary slightly.

I am sure there will be 100 other obsticles to overcome.

None bigger than the national, in formula 1 2 3 each engine is the same size they all race from the same distance and they can form a velocity, but how the hell can you perform a velocity for birds flying 150 mile further and say its correct, velocity is equal when all races are the same distance even the best formula 1 drivers can't even keep up with the same lap times, but you expect a pigeon to do due to short racing members

But that's pigeon racing, if they set off in a North wind and wind turns South at the Scottish border it would be won further up, only one combine race in the Up North Combine has been won by the shorter flyers so far this season, they've all been won at the top end by the longer flyers

And just how can that work , conditions at either racepoints could differ dramaticaly winds can vary as stated by Redcheqhen

Dont try to over complicate what could already be a difficult task in coming together.

Yes but when you have your bird tucked in for the night, who is giving a frig about wind change 150 mile up the road, yet the velocity is set by the shortest flyer distance for all is the point that's why races from the west , from a sea lib, or a east sea lib is the answer there then, everyone has the right measurements and birds starburst for home
