Well, some, having missed the O.L.R. sales, I'd wager a good place to buy in.

You know they could be bought here, left to fly out and not raced till next season. AFTER a round of late bred this Autumn. Make sure you have the rings for them.

Next March repaired to a different mate, take one or two rounds and then raced. Would be as good a start as any for a newbie - or a fancier struggling as any!

Keep a good record of what paired and results. Then mate out crossed. I'd go for buying the cheapest dozen personally. The contentment, and no stress would abound I'd wager.

that would just be a slap in the face to any fancier who has donated a bird with the expectation of it being raced and competing for the prize money
