Guest TIMBARRA LOFTS Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 nice looking birds, just goes to show what can be achieved by breeding the stupid chocs out of them! You mean like G&R Schalwijk have done, and Karel Meuleman, and Herman Beverdam ? Also a friend of yours in South Africa who i shall not name, as he is a nice guy has a loft full of them at a guess. :-/
Guest chrisss Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 not interested in the chocolate saga [again :D :D ]what do you vdb guys think of the birds that you have seen so far [i might have room for a pair?]
Guest Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Get back to the thread, it's always sad when someone has to leave the sport because of personal reasons. The WOESRC is stiff competition, I wish I was able to compete with them. These birds sound real bargains. If you want to argue whether chocolate is better than sex open a chit chat thread.
Guest Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 not interested in the chocolate saga [again :D :D ]what do you vdb guys think of the birds that you have seen so far [i might have room for a pair?] Chris if your in the market, get in touch with Stuart, I'm sure there'll be some good uns to be had, well worth a punt in my opinion
pjc Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 not argueing, birds look spot on! Just pointing out the abscence of a particular colour!
Guest Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 not interested in the chocolate saga [again :D :D ]what do you vdb guys think of the birds that you have seen so far [i might have room for a pair?] Chris at the end of the day it don't matter what they are, theres 40+ birds bound to be some good some bad, but if you think the price is right then worth a punt , then its in the hands of the gods..................and yourself of course!!
Guest chrisss Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Chris if your in the market, get in touch with Stuart, I'm sure there'll be some good uns to be had, well worth a punt in my opinion oh i will [more than likely]just want guys views we have some jvb guys on here you know ;) ;)
grizzle_hen Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Please keep this thread as intended, for enquires and sales of the listed birds
swilcox Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Posted April 3, 2009 This man has a small number of birds and a high number of prizes so its stands to reason that they are a strong gen pool, plus if there are any that i wouldnt take myself i will not offer them. Shotgun Tim, you asked before for certain colours (Grizzles i believe) and as i pointed out i wasnt certain how many were there, if i didnt return a pm then i apologise i was getting 30 or 40 a day and it was hard to keep up. Stuart
BLACK W F Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Spencer KAREL MUELAMAN does not have JVB any more he races long distance it is long distance birds he has replaced his old family with so i would guess no more chocolates as Stewart states 400 ml birds probally get the odd exception but thats why MUELAMAN changed regards Alan

Stuart Well done, that all people want at the end of the day, good honest pigeons that have performed at sensible prices and not over inflated funny colours! Good luck to who ever has brought them, sure they will go on and produce the goods!
Guest Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 A bad time to sell any OBs, and i think most fanciers would prefer to see a list (and maybe a pic or in person) and how that particular bird bred or raced, no matter at what price! I've seen threads on forums where birds are given away for free and still the questions get asked!
swilcox Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Posted April 3, 2009 Mick, normally thats possible but as im sure you will understand its a difficult time at present for the vender.
mark Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 not interested in the chocolate saga [again :D :D ]what do you vdb guys think of the birds that you have seen so far [i might have room for a pair?] for £40 A PAIR you cant moan.
