Stonehaven, clear blue sky no wind. Just been down to see LNRC pigeons who have heldover due to bad weather on flight path. The noise the birds are making, they think they are going.

What a load of b*ll*cks. Peterhead to the nearest motorway is probably about 100 miles. With the motorway infrastructure of south/central Scotland there would never be a North section doo in the result. Oh and how do they manage to find their way from Lerwick, not many motorways or roadsigns on the way down from there.

My yb team for this year was 6. Though now down to 4 as 2 are in basket injured, dont know if hawk has been after them. 1 damaged keel other damaged wing.

Before you blow everthing away, try booting off your XP cd. It will say its loading a lot of files but dont worry about this. It thinks it is going to do a new install. Follow the instructions as though you are doing a full rebuild. Hopefully you will get a message like "found another version of windows at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32" can't remeber the exact wording,b but if it finds this you should get the chance to repair. I think it just says "do you want to repair this version press R" Again cant remeber exact wording, but it reinstalls the esential files and also leaves your data intact. Well worth a try.

What version of software are you running, some versions you can use your installation disk and you get the option to try and repair from there.

Either on natural, never tried roundabout so can't comment. What ageyou thinking of sending.

Stonehaven 08:30 almost 100% clod but still bright, freshening easterly breeze. It was virtually no cloud, no wind at 05:30.

13 (unlucky for some) out of 17 at 19:00. 4 of them first race this year (3 home) 180 miles. Happy at getting them, speechless about them being released.

No. The pigeons were entered into the race. You can't go into the baskets to get your pigeons out, not any different from any other race. If it is technical and you cant get a race you will get your birds back. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long if there is not going to be a race. Also if you have mid nat, why are you sending them on what could be a dodgy weekend.
