1. I would keep them apart as much as possiable to keep the line good. Sitting around is the same for rollers as Homers, to much feed 99% of the time. I have Berms and Bellneck Rollers
2. I think it a more active Alien contacts, they love to eat pigeons and I think there population is growng and that is the reason for greater losses.
3. Smashing
4. 48 of 51 from 250 miles, 31 in the clock
5. Use Seven dust , sprinkle all over the feathers and gently rub in under them. Do it outside and wear rubber gloves. other thing is 3 drops of Ivromec in the mouth
6. We had the200 mile 4th Payout race today from 248 miles. Sorry to say none of the Syndicate Birds were in the prizes. Had 48 of 51 birds home on the day and 31 in the clock . We had 10 birds in the top 10% of club birds. Here is todays winner AU RUSS 74
7. Air and Sheets of Insulation. It is held in place with the brick ties placed in the block joints as they are being laid. If you only had a single wall it would cost more to heat, the heat is just to help keep it dry.
8. here is a photo of a double wall with insulation Block and brick, the brick face in this case is as big as a block but not as thick
9. It would be made of block with brick on the outside with heated concrete floors as I said above. Vent fans and lovers can be open or closed as air is needed exchanged. the warm dry loft also helps keep the condition the birds constent
10. If I had the money I would do one in block and brick and have heated cement floors. the heat would keep it dry and warm year around.
11. I haven't lost any yet,but there are 90 that haven't made it home yet from the start of training thru the 1st 4 races. Only 4 haven't returned from racing the rest are still on a long training toss I figure
12. Todays race had all 3 birds from the Syndicate that are left in the clock. 13. It is Offical, 2677 was 3rd in the chat race 14th in the club, we won the club race today so it was a Grand day here is 2677 after the flight
14. You can put them in a baggie and freeze them right on the stems . The icecube idea is also good for keeping them a long pierod of time. let the thaw in the frig when you take them out of the freezer to help keep them from going mushie. We have found it is good for treating the YB sickness
15. When i boxed I had a candle on my trunks. One good blow and I was out :
16. We let all our Jr Flyer fly the 1st 15 birds Free for the whole race season, they can do no pooling and there club dues are 50% of a full adult member
17. RED GREEN BLUE all my colors are working
18. go to bottom and attach ,Browse and slecet jpg from your files and click ok , then click post
19. I'm the Controler /Liberator for our Combine. You are Dammed if you do and Dammed if you don't, I just try and find a happy middle. I start 2 days before shipping looking at 4 diffrent weather sites, watch the local weather channel on TV. If it looks bad I send an Email to all clubs and members in the combine to have them put pressure on the race Sect to cancel if it looks to bad. It then is up to the Flyer if he wishes to place birds on the transporter if the weather is bad. That is the real Key,the owner has made the choice to send his birds knowing it could be bad and that in turn gives the weather a chance to take his birds ,not the controller and transporter. Each Flyer is the main Controller of his birds when placed on the truck in a basket. All the people can do is try there best from that point on. Even on a nice Sunny day you can have a bad race if the K factor is up and the winds shift. mostly its the Flyer who didn't win who is mad 8)

21. We pay $.80 a bird for shipping and $.30 a bird for Entry for a total of $1.10 a bird each week from 100 to 500 miles
22. What else is good for Lice and Mites is a good flea and tick spray for dogs. We use Adams brand. just cover the eyes and nostrials with hand and spray the bird all over. de bugs them in about 20 min.
23. I use Ivromec Cattle type 1% 3 drops in the mouth
24. To take Photos, a wire cage lined with black velvet cloth on walls and bottom works best. leave the top of wire cage open for a light to shine down on the bird. when covering the bottom with the black leave a block of wood under it so the bird will use it like a perch .leave a door on the front to place the bird in and out. you can use any color velvet for back ground, but black or a maroon works best. the Velvet cuts the glare down also
25. After you give them all the things mentioned, they may be dead, lol it is the protien blues, don't use such good feed :-)
