yes i do have a cctv system , 16 camera's , 4 of them are IR , all linked to a hard drive , 2IR + 2 normal in the loft's , the other 12 watching for 2 legged prowler's , and unikon ets , nearly forgot the passive alarm wired to house & mobile ph, ;D

hi mate , find out what is the system used most by the member's of the club that you have joined / joining , i would look to them for advise , on what system to buy , go with the flow , so to speak , many system's on the market at the moment , bit of a mine field , all the best

hi mate , when things go wrong its a trying time , noticed in your post creosote and smoke bomb's for red mite . i know red mite dont like creosote but it will not kill them unless they are covered in the stuff , and the smoke bomb's will have no effect at all , as its nothing more that a dry disinfectant , good for any viruses that may be lurking about , taking care of the red mite can be a problem as they are resistant to so many products on the market , the best one i have found is sheep dip at a mix 20ml - 2gal water kill's em dead , getting back to the creosote , i dip beer mats in it , let them dry off , and tape them in the bottom of nest bowl's so that they don't get kicked about , and a handfull of sawdust throwen on top , every little deterrent help's. egg's not filled , that could be a number of thing's , hen's going down to quick , in that cock's are driving hen's that hard the treading becomes an after thought , i have found this with some head case yearling's , they soon settle down , but there's allways one or two empty head's all they want to do is go around trying to take over every nest box in the loft , but they will settle , hope you have better luck with the next round ,,,ch pied
