Well said DOVEScot, i totally agree with you mate, Roland looks like you must have shares in the company mate. :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ To me Amtrax have to get a grip with the collection and the delivery of pigeons for the fanciers. Roland looks like you have not had any problems with them. :o :o :o :o :o

Well HOMER49, Thanks for picking me up on the spelling mate, hope it never happens to you what i have been going through with them over the last 10 - 14 days. AMTRAK/AMTRAX not much a difference if i should say myself. : : > >

When Amtrax do a good job they are quick enough to take the praise, When they make mistakes on birds not getting picked up, or the birds are in a bad state when you get them, what the hell doo they bother no, they dont. I have been trying to get birds picked up for over 10 days, since i phoned up before 9.30 in the morning, then the fax would be sent to the local depo, and guess what, still no birds have been picked up. I went along to the local depo, about 20 mins before they were to close, and guess what, they were shut for the weekend, i have spent some time on the phone to the local depo, and also the depo where they had been faxed too and still no birds have been picked up. I for one will be logging a complaint to there head office, letting them no what has been happening to me on the birds, if interlink were still to collect and deliver birds, i for one would be using them all the time, because when they did the doos, i never had a problem with the collection or the delivery of birds, you could have set your watch with them when they would arrive. Always complain if you are not happy, dont just sit back and accept it, there policy state a good service, and how the hell can anyone say they are getting a good service when you see whats happened to DOVEScot doo.

Tony, Try and get your local depo number mate, dont go on phoning the 0870 number i have been at least 2 hours trying to get them to pick birds up from last week, between my local depo and also the depo from where the birds have to be picked up from, finding it very hard fo whatever reason

Once again, guess what, amtrax have let me down again, i have been trying to get some young birds picked up from last monday, yes last monday, over a bloody week now, phoned this morning again, and explained to them whats happened in the last week, got the feeling they wer not much bothered with my complaint, the birds were to be picked up to-day and they havent. Tommorrow morning, i will be going into the local office, and i will be kicking up hell with them, this is what amtrax are up to with theses birds, they will be ready for the first toss with the old ones on Sunday. I wish there was someone else who can doo a better job than them. Really sick of them, but what can we doo without them.

Just phoned amtrax at my local depo again to see what the hell is going on relating to the birds, they sent the fax down at 10 oclock on tuesday to the sunderland depo, the guy even gave me the phone number for the depo down there, tried 3 times to get through, all i got was the rining tone, totalling 10 minutes of wasted time, he siad the birds would have been picked up on tuesday and delievered to me on wednesday, nothing has arrived, just hope the guy who is sending the birds dosent get pissed of with me due to the fault of AMTRAX again. So i will have to just keep on bloody phoning until i get an answer from them

Phoned up amtrax on Monday morning before 9.30 to have some pigeons picked up, the guy took all the details etc, he was going to fax the information down to the other depo for arrangements for pick up, phoned the person to see if the birds were picked up yet, thinking they would have been delierered yesterday, nothing, phoned my local depo this morning to ask whats happening with the pigeons, the guy siad there is no pigeons on the van for to-day, this is just a bloody nightmare when its coming to this, i wish some company would takeover from them, so we can get a good service as this is all the fanciers want, can any one tell me the price for amtrax, i was told if you book online you will be paying cheaper than you doo when phoning.

Can we have some photos of the trailer thats for sale please.

Talking about sparrowhawaks guys, last week i was at my mates house doing some work on the trailer, he had his doos out as normal flying around the house etc, then all of a sudden there they were, the 2 local perigines, one of them flying above the doos and the other flying bellow them, what they were doing was hurdling them into a group, before the one above went for the kill. This went on for around 5-10 mins. Luckily enough there was a white one in amonst the 7 or 8 onwhich broke off from the pack, the above made a dive but the doo was i would say a lot faster for it. I couldnt believe it when i saw this for the first time since i have kept the doos, it was like a sheep dog hurdling the sheep into the pen. Have seen the sparrow hawk on top of the avary at my own huts before, i actually took photos of the f...... thing just for the record, also has been spotted in the garden sitting on top of the barins wendy house. Also the sparrowhawk dived into my garden one day when i was strimming the grass, only 10 feet away from the head of the strimmer, what a f...... freight i got. They are just getting out of order now, thats why i think fanciers are leaving the sport becasue of they f...... things. Its a shame if you have seen what the damage these birds are doing to the doos, i have actually got some photos of a doo that had been stripped bare, the only thing left on the doo was the ring, the head, wings etc were all stripped bare to the flesh. Just thought i would share this info. Cemetary.

Pete, At the end of the day mate, when the young birds have left you to go to there owners, the birds will have left in top condition, you are doing a lot of fanciers a favour breeding young birds, so dont worry yourself mate, they will be fine. As you said, i hope the fanciers will be pleased with them, i hope they let you no how they are progressing etc, again breeding all these youngsters isnt easy, a lot of time and money spent doing this. Credit to the sport pete. Cemetary.

Sean, Get in touch with the rpra mate and put your case over to them what was said by your secretary, the sport is needing young persons, just like your son to come into the sport, it looks like these morons are chaseing people away from the sport. Keep your chin up mate, never mind they muppets.

jakjak, I have sent you a PM. Cemetary.

A small pair of wire snips, have used a few times. Nick the top and bottom back and front, the ring will come away no bother at all, as long as someone is helping you.

jakjak, have sent you a PM.

I have got to agree with Alf, they are just takeing the mickey out of the pigeon fanciers, what will happen in the next 6 months, more price on the fancier, i find this crazy what they are doing. Why cant they give us a better service, and a more better price to pay, at the end of the day, how much money doo amtrax make of us per year if we have birds reported, or if we are buying birds. > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Looks a lovey hen bird you have there monkey, watch the girl isnt getting jealous of you haveing another bird around you. If you can catch them both and get the ring numbers of the ring leg and report them both to whoevr it may be, and let the owners get the pigeons picked up at there expence. Dont get into bother with the neighbours on feeding the pigeons mate, especially being in rented accommodation at present. If the guy with the NEHU ring number dosent want anything else to doo with the pigeon, get back onto the NEHU and complain to them about the owner. Come on, if the pigeon belongs to you, i dare say monkey will catch it for you and send for it, there is enough ringed pigeons going about with feral pigeons in the areas. Youve done your best on feeding them etc, now its up to the owners of these pigeons. :o :o :o

I made a Mistake, 99% instead of 100%, eyes are getting sore with being out the back all day looking for birds.
-
Well done Andy, you got 100% returns from Otterburn, the best i have heard about.
-
andyb, otterburn mate.
-
Didnt have a god day at otterburn, my first race, sent 20 which is all i have for raceing i thought the birds were looking well and the training was first class in the last two weeks. Never got a bird until 12.20 when the other members were getting them at 11.00 onwards, didnt see much birds either, the strangest race i have had since having the birds. Out of the 20 0nly have 5 home, which is very sickening when you put all the hard work into them, feel like shutting the hut up but will wait until tommorrow and make the decision, never away from the window to see if there is anything landed on the hut, as there is still alot of birds going over in various areas. Well i think there will be a lot of empty perches the night, in the fife area. What returns have any of the other fifers got. Any information on what it was like at Otterburn to-day.

Can any one help me find the owner of this pigeon, ring number GB 04 Z 73133 it is a blue cock, the cock has been double rubbered colour blue, so i think he has been entered into an open race/national, he aslo has a luminous clipped ring on his ring leg, there is a telephone number but cant make it out that great, 01327 715758. This bird was caught this morning onboard a semisubmersible drilling rig which is located around about 70-80 to shoreside, the bird is getting looked after with water and food, he is resting at the moment and will be letting him go sometime in the morning, i will try and get him to shoreside who ever the bird belongs too. Any help. Cemetary.

I thought there was something odd, when the webmaster said that the birds were going to be named after the players in the world cup, the ones that you have got there mealybar were the ones that i have picked that werent in the world cup, but they are on the list of birds to be picked from.
