  2. Guys, Just thought i would put up this post relating to the first young bird training toss with the big trailer at Drumbrae today. Arrived at Drumbrae at 10.05, when we arrived we were greeted with another couple of local fanciers from the Fife area, they brought there doos out there cars, we agreed that we would all go together, we had a bit of bunter before the doos went at 10.15. There was in the region on between 700-750 young birds, well it was like a liberation, the doos went well, we didnt have to chase much out the trailer, (4) that was all, usually for the first toos there is more. As far as we have heard from some of the guys that were at the first toss they had good returns, and a good toss, hopefully more to come, the doos were home around 40 mins from the trailer, the weather was fine, wind a little strong but it was good. :) :)

Update, Having a good look at the birds the day after feeding and watering them, i handled them and what a difference they have made over the last couple of days with the body, all they have been getting is broth mix. I have asked the client to see if the helicopter company would allow the birds to be taken onto the helicopter tommorrow from the rig, my friend is travelling to Edinburgh and he is going to let the NE one go a couple of miles from the heliport. The GB one he is going to take to Edinburgh as this is from Northamptonshire. I will phone the gentleman tommorrow if all goes well So hope they allow it. Will keep yous posted on the outcome.
