Walter, My comments to the post is, i for one wouldnt be very happy if the doos that i sent to the channel were liberated in mist, spending all that time and effort, so you must be a man of letting the birds go in the mist then, cause for me its a no brainer, and there is plenty would agree on this. There has been very thick fog over at training points, and not clearing, and the sun has been out, didnt burn it of quick enough for a release, and thats only a short distance Am no classing any toss with a national race, certainley not, so looks like you have the wrong end owe the stick mate, maybe you wont to read it again, i was stateing my point. As for not looseing a doo in this type of weather, it was proved last year when a guy just about wiped out some guys due to him letting birds up in the fog,

When you are training yir birds for these type owe races, do you get to the training point and see mist and let them go, a dont think so, so why should they be let go over the channel when there is mist. A lot owe guys doo put a bit owe training into these birds, and to waste them like that is just ridiculous. I would rather that the birds doo get catered for due to bad weather conditions.

He dosent deliver them to your home, when John comes over he drops the birds @ Dumfries, then its up to the owner to get a courier to pick them up from there.
