You can have the best of birds from top flyers, but you have got to get the people at the sales to buy them, its pretty shete when you have asked for and been given birds for not a lot of people to turn up, and when they find that there bird made £20 it would probabley be the last bird given for the club sale. If any one has any good ideas on how to generate money for club funds without pigeon sales should post up and help other small clubs out.

The day when i was making the food up for feeding, the hen spara tried to nail a blackbird out the tree, the blackbird got away between the houses, so later on the birds like crows, jackdaws, gulls were going crazy above the house over the back from me, i clapped a couple of pieces of wood but nothing lifted. Came in the house went up stairs, looked out the window across the back and the cock spara was trying to nail a jackdaw, i went over the fence, the spara lifted with the jackdaw over into the cemetary, i hopped the wall and the sparra had it down at the headstone, i walked up about to club it and it shot off, the jackdaw manged to get on the headstone, then come to itself before making a get away, so ave saved the jackdaw from death.
