It is with a sad heart that I have to inform you John passed away on Friday 18/10/2013 John was a member of Aberdeen & District Flying Club and the SNFC. John worked for BT and was always willing to help at club and Fed level. My condolences to Mary and his family. RIP old pal

Welcome to the site I had a junior joined our club when I went to vaccinate his birds he said I would have to stay outside as loft was not big enough for both of us !!! He did persuade Dad to give him half of his garden shed 8x5 he was delighted and flew very well in a bad place I was so pleased to see him do well Unfortunately he discovered other type of birds

These result were verified by the club secretary Harky also sent by e.mail his club results John Quinns claim Hi Ian, the doo of mine that bryanbrock bought was raced by myself at his request. Its a nice Cheq Wf Ck but despite having 5 races to 147mls in the Club/Fed he didn't muster a winning performance, mind you neither did any of the rest !!. To be fair i race natural Yb's so i don't expect much, just a good education and good returns, which i got this year. Anyway if racing 5 races without winning a prize is good enough to win a prize then Bryan, i'm sure, will be Very happy. atb. John Ian

Breeder Buyer 2013 turned out to be a bit of a flop with only 1 claim being made for a bird that won. I found this quite exceptional as it has never happened before The winner is Harky with SU13L2121 and being the only claim he will win all the money which is £676 Thanks and congratulations to all who entered this venture Ian

Not being disrespectful to any one but: How will this ever be resolved: Vets cannot agree with manufactures instructions ? Pigeon fanciers cannot agree it appears to be different in all countries How can any vet disagree with Manufacturers instructions not much faith in a system which is in disarray And we wonder why pigeon fanciers have problems they are taking the micky and will soon be wanting us to vaccinate twice a year as some have already said Had the dog to the vet this week and they inform me he has to have 2 booster vaccinations 1 month apart when I said it's another money making scheme she said but it's only another £6 she forgot to say on top of the increase don't think I will be going again :emoticon-0179-headbang:
