very tough race today, bit of clean sweep by the 'local pigeons' and the 'Netherlands'... well done! lets hope we see a UK arrival before night fall...
yes it is an extreme one loft race indeed, I see another has homed last night at 6.27pm making 197 pigeons for the Final at the moment from the original 1198 that went to the first training race... if you get a pigeon through to the Final (300km/180 miles) mostly flying over the Atlantic Ocean, then that is a result in itself, and a valued stock pair it bred from... GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY FOR THE FINAL EVENT!!
this year there are pigeons in the FINAL from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales... there will be some buzzzzz about the place that day glad you enjoyed it, pity you still not there for the Final... that's some day, then the Presentation Evening
it been a great semi final Frank, looks like close on 200 pigeons will be going to the Grande Finale! Jock Ross 'BAND OF GOLD 3' 25th and my 'DIAZEPAN 1' 54th told ya u would have a ball! glad the race was a good one far ya, some experience eh? well done Pieter
