does your da keep giving you them pigeons with feathery feet-----they are not to race they are to get the racers down.
if you want to compete -first get a seperate loft ,it doesnt have to be big but must be dry and airy connect to this an avairy with a solid roof and back.make sure your pigeons are from the best --either off your dads best or off the guys that beat your dad .next they must be kept healthy,so start to ask what your dad is adding to the corn or water and why then research it on the net.NOW YOUR STARTING TT LEARN rather than just hopeing the pigeons will do it all.the pigeons dropping are a sign of how your pigeons health is the wattle of your young birds are a good visual sign of health --only healthy pigeons win-next what you put in is what you get out so you have to school your young,so sitting watching them on the lawn for an hour is out, they get enough of looking at that from the avairy when your not there so get the basket out and lets go training -if you train had feed more-if they are to interested in pairing up split them your hens wont need as much training then but cocks can be a pain.now the learning curve has started add to it but work them build the muscle make them use their sat nav vary the training points ,but always take time to watch the pigeons in the loft they will tell you if you look when they are wrong.if you are not sure contact k winters at medpet he will send you a test kit -pay your money and have them tested-and dont believe it when they say its not nessesary all the top men in the up north use kevin.also feed for the race distance [watch your da]
hope this helps
yours in sport
