Made mine sloping slightly and deep enough so rain does not enter, put a drip canopy on the outside as well
I will post pics of mine in the next few days, including one that is cat proof
Chickadee cleans them out every day, rain hail or snow, so not much of a challenge, I will be inspecting it tomorrow and see if you are telling porkies
New avatar for you ;D
What about a new years resolution pool
You enter your new years resolution and pledge a sum of money say £20, they must be specific or maybe from a list. The winners will split the pool money, the losers zilch.
We could make it healthy and challenging
Lose a percentage of your body weight
Stop smoking
Any other ideas
It was me that posted it last time, even made the sticky's

Well worth bringing back up Roland, especially at this hectic time of the year
There are loads of things repeated on the site There are loads of things repeated on the site There are loads of things repeated on the site :D :D :D
A happy new year to all and beware of the scammers, nae wonder am paranoid ;) ;)
Like any auction, do not bid any more than what you think it's worth to you. If someone else thinks it's worth more then they win.
You are within your right to offer a starting bid and a final bid, this stops them from starting on your final one, so you have little or no chance of winning, if some else is interested.
If an auctioneer was selling your items, you would be well peaved if he did not get the best prices for you. But like any other game you have your chancers and bent auctioneers, ones that drag it out and ones that close it as soon as :-/
Also depends if they have ten items to sell or 100 items to sell in the given time
Nobody that makes them are going to give you dimensions so you can make them yourself
You would be better buying or aquiring one, new or old and taking ideas from it, ;) ;)do not copy as you may infringe copyrights
El natural, we are now using heather, lavender, tobacco stalks and straw, cut into 4-6" lenghts and put in a picking basket so they can make there own
We had a young one survived the winter in the wall cote on the garage with little or no nesting material :-/
Ah love Chickadee to bits, but there is no way she would tell me to do that!!!
Get him and his wife on the site and let the girls convert her, or get him to post pics of the loft and the the wife and we shall have a poll, it' a cracking loft so lets see if the wife is worth it
Tractor boy has the right idea, get a wife that loves pigeons like Ma Wee Chickadee, anyway what is the wife doing in Spain on her own, keep the loft, tell her to keep her prune dried *expletive removed* in Spain :D :D :D
Yes we did have at one time, quite common some time ago, we used them for quarantining new birds before I built a hut for new or injured birds plus accesories like baskets etc
There is a guy in Edinburgh that keeps all his fancies in hutches on a wall inside an aviary
