  1. If it's anything like his loft, poor kid ;D ;D ;D Young Duncan was up with ma easter egg yesterday and he is away to buy his new cousin his first football top ;D ;D ;D

  3. Bye the way, can me and Chickadee stay over after the big day Pal :K)
  4. Possibly anyone donating a pigeon to a site auction would have their fees waved for the coming year :-/
  5. You would get a lot of pigeons in half a column plus the coverage would be in the region of 30,000 customers, but that is for one week £25 a year is nothing to private sellers and £100 a year is nothing to professional sellers, in fact I think it is very cheap
  6. People that make a regular income from selling pigeons are doing it as a profession, may not be their main income, and how would we know if it was or not, If i made £30,000 from selling pigeons and £35,000 by another income then I could truly state that £30,000 was not my main income
  7. Electronically would not be the only method as in any voting system, an idea would be to give members several options on how they could vote, once they took that option then that is how they could only cast a vote, Electronically, postal, in person or a proxy vote
  8. I think it has to be one rule for all, leave it to donations and it will not be adhered to by everyone. If private sellers want to donate over the £25 fee and professional sellers donate more than £100 then good on them, they could always take it off the first bird they sell. £100 is nothing for business that is given a chance to potentially sell your goods to over 2600 members, not just pigeons :-/

    JOCK

Welcome to the site, I hope Jock is your husband and not you ;D ;D ;D Post in the miscellaneous wanted section the type of clock you want, bearing in mind that some clubs/feds have now taken on board a new system called ETS (electronic timing system) so may be better to check first

  22. A club does not need a child protection officer; an organisation may need to appoint one if they are running programmes involving children Child Protection Policy Your link to the ABAE The Board of Directors, The Boxing Council of England and the management team of the ABAE endorse this Child Protection Policy. All Children and Young People who participate in our organisation deserve and must expect a safe and positive experience throughout our nation-wide network of clubs and events. This policy document ensures that our Children and Young People are able to develop personally, socially, emotionally and physically within a culture that is committed to safeguarding them from harm. Any club affiliated to an organisation must have submitted or adopted their constitution; a club may add their own club rules approved at an AGM or an extraordinary meeting. They may withhold an application till a an appropriate meeting is called but they cannot make them up as they go along If my young girl was trying to get into a club and she was refused, I would ask why. If it was as in most boxing clubs they did not have the facilities to cater for changing etc then if I could not find a way round it I would have to accept it, who would want their young girl changing etc in a communal area Hypothetical; if your girl joins our pigeon you must be present with her at all times because to keep ourselves safe as there are times only one adult is present in the club sometimes and this may contravene the child protection laws, I hope you understand. This is better than saying sorry no can do, bye
