We had this conversation not that long ago about the great nature of Staffys, and like any dog they are capable of biting people, the difference is the damage bull terriers or bull type dogs can cause in the wrong hands or if they do turn for some reason. There are so many staffy look alikes going about it is very hard to spot one, pit bulls are not a recognised breed they are generally cross bull terriers and depending on the cross they are ideal for the fighting

The single breed reported as being most responsible for dog bites requiring hospital treatment in the UK is ‘the Spaniel’. As we know the Spaniel is not a single breed in it’s own right we must drill down that the minority Spaniels such as the Sussex, Clumber, Brittany, Irish Water, Welsh Springer etc are rarer, it is between the English Springer and Cocker Spaniels upon whom the finger of blame is being pointed.
