Naw, you just accept or at least consider change on all sides so things can move forward, without that then it is stale mate :-/
It is very simple to draw up but the only thing that stops it is personalities holding it back
Although being new to pigeon politics I am not new to sports politics. This is mirrored in quite a few sports and organisations and almost an exact reflection of what happened in Scottish Judo which I was part of being the executive rep for Fife, Tayside and Central
This may be boring but true
There used to be The Scottish Judo Union and they all fell out and in fact it became news headlines because it became a punch up at one of the main events where the pipe bands were there to play and the pics in the papers were of pipers busby's strewn all over the place
There then became the breakaways The Scottish judo Federation and The Scottish Judo Association and never the twain would meet
Mirrored in the fact that that it split Scottish competitors who were not interested in the politics just wanted to enter competitions and become true Scottish champions but as Scotland was not big enough the hiring of halls or venues were put to task as the entries were split. Instead of fighting at Meadowbank or the Kelvin hall we were holding events in community or sports centres
Members decided to vote with their feet and told the powers at be they were going to enter both types of event and soon it sorted it's self out although the diehards never stopped bickering in the background the one that offered the best service "The Scottish Judo Federation" now "Judo Scotland" is the one and only body accepted by Sports Scotland where you are true Scottish champions fighting for your place in The British Nationals to be part of Team Britain at the Olympics
I think we need the same type of structure built to suit pigeon racing, it seems a lot of people from reading the posts are not happy with most of the governing body committees that are in place at the moment, whether it be the RPRA or SHU :-/
