Nicki,you need to be in control of your birds,they must respond to your call or you will get no enjoyment from them.With young birds as it has been said many times,they should be in the air or in the loft and not over fed.atb.

Have used it many years ago,prescribed by a vet.Mixed with water( 1 inch of paste from tube)but difficult to mix,not used since.(1 inch per 2pints)

Racing today Kempsey 89mls.9 sent 135birds 1st 1409 light north east wind, a yearling hen.atb.

I don't race roundabout,but my hens are housed in the next section to the cocks. They fly out and are trapped to their section, midweek racing when the cocks exercise the hens are let through to their boxes and then basketed for the race, they trap back to their section on return. Friday the hens are sent through to the cocks and both sexes are sent to the race.They both trap to the boxes on return,and left together a couple of hours,it just keeps it simple.Cocks don't race midweek.
