Another poxy day here,very overcast with a cool easterly wind.

Four 15mls tosses before the first race which is about 80mls.

Same here with a light ground frost.

Looks like another fine day,no wind and 5degs but should warm up later.

Same here,let the cocks out 7-30 and they disappeared.

Two weeks to racing here,how are things going in your lofts?Will strip the eggs from mine later in the day then separate the sexes the next morning.Once split the hens soon settle in their loft then hopefully a few short tosses before racing begins.All the best to all Basics members for the new season.

In the late sixties/early seventies we reported a pigeon to a Mr Pollock and his son Harvey who drove a lorry came down to Liverpool to collect it.He also gave us a couple of birds,this post just jogged my memory wonder if it's the same person?
