Clear blue sky here and hot already with a very light southerly wind.I can see the moon very clearly in the west.

Merseyside Fed. starts it's y/bird programme this w/e from Wollaston,short markers 67mls,back markers 89mls.Two counties also from Wollaston but they started last w/e.

One of the clubs I'm in, Sankey Bridges have their first y/bird race tomorrow,Wollaston approx 67mls not sent myself but 330 birds gone.All the best lads,going for an early lib because of the heat.

It's difficult to win any race these days,my mate won £6,000 in one youngbird race last season,I don't think he would swop that for a win with the old birds.

There's bats around this area and after 10-00pm they're having a good feed on flying insects,they've been landing on the lawn too,which I've never seen them do before.
