Cheltenham for me a come back race with Sankey Bridges in the Two Counties Comb. 105mls sending the lot 10 of each sex.

Cloudy with a light east wind but a good forecast for later in the day.

Looking through the results section some of the velo's are around 800/900's for the winning birds so some of the later pigeons will have put some work in.How does your management alter to cater for these birds? ie. are they rested during the week and maybe miss the next race? do you still let them exercise with your other birds? and do you change their diet? etc.

At 6-30am the sun was out, looked like the start of a good day,now it's overcast with a light nw wind but mild.

Lost a yearling cock,he missed the first couple of races due to casting an end flight,put him into a 160ml race which turned out a stiff one and dipped him.With racing only inland, don't tend to get many losses (touch wood).
