You wont see a buzzard attacking very often and did i throw down a challenge personally to you frank? Some people do have camcorders if you cant prove it and i have never seen it then why cant someone film it

Sparrow hawks dont hover so does your birds mob it when its resting. Thats just not going to happen.sINCE IT SEEMS A FEW MEMBERS ON HERE HAVE SEEN THERE BIRDS DOING THIS AND ON A REGULAR Basis i would like to challenge them to get this on video and post it on youtube as previously mentioned by dovescot and that will put the subject to rest.

The pigeons know buzzards will do them no harm after flying around with them present for so long and not being attacked although a buzzard having a hard winter will take the odd bird but they prefer carrion

Yes they have no choice but to circle it when liberted there trying to find there bearings i have been searching since lastnight trying to get footage of pigeons mobbing bop but cant seem to find any i did find one where wild pigeons had taken over a kestrels nest box and the kestrels wouldnt go in to the box everytime it put its head in it got a slap with the pigeons wing

I dont agree as i let my birds out when a sparrowhawk just landed on my house roof and my pigeons never took it upon themself to chase it away they all shot back in to the loft and let me chase it away they dont hesitate to trap when old percy is about

My birds have to fly round the buzzards as theres 4 of them above my loft most days they dont seem bothered about the buzzards but i have never seen them mobbing buzzards like other birds do as in dive bombing the buzzards

I know a fancier bought 5 or 6 kenyon black pieds they were on sale on the noticeboard for £5 each at coxidean farm They look a bit on the big side for me.I handled a few and u would need 3 hands to handle them properly but at a fiver each who says there the real mccoy

I would never put seed out on the landing board you dont want your birds on raceday to be looking about the landing board for food its a bad habbit to get in to them

It makes a good trapping mixture mixed with other small seeds
