  1. For Tillybillie(winning bidder for my lot). Have sent a couple of EM - trying this medium now - birds are ready.
  2. If its not too late I would like to offer 2 x Roland Janssen YBs - located in Wiltshire. These birds originate from J & A M and LPW.
  3. Membership card is not needed. I filled in form, sent with cheque and received letter from RPRA acknowledging order and telling me when rings would be issued. Suspect they are informed by Regions of members who have paid their subs.
  4. Bought a pair of Jos Thones(Brian Willingham and Askam Sands Rats) - will pair and see if the YBs do better in Somerset OLR!!!!!
  5. Been told that "free masters" will need to be insured for £70 per year and have to be returned yearly for "maintenance" - would not want too many systems in a club if this is true!!!!!
  6. Ordered some B De W products off the website - fast delivery and well packaged with a good long use by date - cheers
  7. Read a thread somewhere posted by an Australian Fancier - gist of it was that initially rings were sold cheaply to sell the systems - his ETS system having been updated will now only accept rings which have been security coded for the Australian market and only available from official Australian agent so he does not have option of importing cheap UK ones. I think I will wait a bit to see how it pans out in the UK!!!!
  8. Type Van Lint in search - ? has come up before
  9. Loads of Hawks in the Bedwynn area - ran one over the other day while it was grappling with a woody - shame!!!
  10. Results so far would seem to suggest that 67% of fanciers who use a computer and are members of this chat site will be using ETS but less than 1 in 6 RPRA members have registered their system.
  11. T3s with STB backup as I suspect is the case with the majority of fanciers!!!! Not against ETS and can understand that if you race in a club with a small radius which specialises in sprint if one gets it all have to have one to compete. Me, I will wait for a bit until all systems have been tested and true prices of rings and accessories are clearer(some speculation that rings are currently being sold below true cost which will not always be the case!!!!).
  12. Was impressed with their last set up, looking forward to visiting the new.

Contact Jak Jak on here - he has reasonably priced RJs up for sale occasionally and is probably not too far from you. I have just bumped his latest sale birds which will give an idea of what type he has.
  15. Excellent delivery time, 2-3 days from telephoning payment - well impressed. Believe they feature in Around Antwerp 9 - would anyone recommend this DVD?
  16. Europa, RPRA, Galway and South West spring to mind
  17. As I read it if you pay 100 you get 1 activated plus a reserve, if you pay 200 you get 2 activated plus 1 reserve - think anyone paying out 200 would probably have two separate 100 entries which would give two activated plus two reserves(wife would be happy if pair in her name come up trumps!!!!!!)
  18. Sounds good - I may have to plan to go further down the A303 with multi drop offs ;D ;D For anyone interested Somerset One Loft is £100 for 1 plus a reserve or £300 for 4 all activated.
  19. SWOL do not have rules or costs on their website - anyone know?
  20. SWOL do not have rules or costs on their website - anyone know?
  21. I think the Somerset One Loft are still taking entries
  22. Good idea - I already use various colour marker rings for strains. This would make good use of the lugs.
  23. Seems a bit tight!!!!
  24. I was told by a fancier who tried both types(layers & growers) that growers do the biz but the YBs go backwards once they are withdrawn.
