Think England came up short because they decided to go it alone,if the bid was on behalf of the United Kingdom it may well have been a celebration today for the whole nation.

Think there was a fear that Scotland's national team could have been at risk from losing their National identity so the risk was not viable.Would you have been in favour of it if there was a risk that Englands national teams idenity could be lost and be replaced with a GB team for all future competitions,dont think so. :unsure:

It would be good financially for the country if the bid was successful so on that basis i hope they win the bid to host it.

Disappointed that they haven't included the use of the stadia in Scotland in their bid to win the World Cup.That might have been a extra incentive to winning the games if they included Scotland,some fantastic stadiums here.

ANYWAY DONE MY GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY THIS OLD DEAR IN HER 70,S TOLD ME SHE HAD MISSED HER BUS AND HAD A BAD LEG WAS THERE ANY CHANCE I COULD GIVE HER A LIFT UP THIS HILL SO I TOOK HER HOME TO HER DOOR.
