i'am a layman as far as medication is concerned, but i would never give an antibiotic as a preventative i may be wrong .i went to the vet with a sick bird and she put it on a course of baytril for 7 days to no avail i disposed of the bird and cut open the crop and found a large tumer ,moral of the story vets get it wrong to :'( :(

its a discrace soon they will want to put anyone that flyes well out of clubs.i would say if someone is refused entry into a club the objectors should be made give a valid reason for their actions, and to good a flyer is not one.

big mistake to use sterling board ,dove cots right 8x2 treated chipboard 3/4. if u use sterling board u will need 12"centres in ur joist for 3/4 board. good luck.

mamun instead off cutting any feathers ,just rub in to the flight feathers of one wing [washing up liqued] this will unbalance the bird and it will wear of slowly when u think the bird has settled give it a bath. and u don't have to wait for it to moult. ur young birds are to young to lay eggs. pactence is a virtue. good luckm8.
