Hi OK CHILDREN Here are MY thoughts on transports We buy 3 under 7.5 tonne second hand 2 very modern 1 moderate If need have them stretched to max length the law allows Build onto chassis a transport that can take 112 pigeon containers (56 per side) 8 high x 7 long at 28 birds = 3136 birds Curtain vented sides , Extraction fan fitted at front and rear 3 side plastic watering system made from 4 inch deep flow guttering Containers to be made from aluminum box section with teflon covered 18mm plywood floor COST NO IDEA Just passing on MY thoughts Cheers Homer 49

Hi bruno Your fed is in the position that you own your transporter when it is sitting at Stirling it costs nothing We in lanarkshire own the trailers only So to move them to a central point for loading we would still need to pay the haulage company Better they travel round than sitting on there backsides costs the same money Cheers Homer 49

Hi To send an artic and 40ft trailer around all the fed is expensive Also to have smaller outlying clubs haveing to ferry in is unfair and is false economy Solution the fed hires on Friday nights a luton type transit and goes round all the outlying clubs Takes baskets to them and uplifts Cheers Homer 49
