i presume you mean,between the landing board and pad. which is what i was intending to do all along untill i read threads on the subject that you dont need bob wires at the front. so i didnt put any on,jast at the back.

i have a landing board that i close up after all the birds are in,but when open the walk across it and soon as they step off the landing board they the next step they take puts them onto the ETS pad.well the plywood covering it.
