Looks like that has been the case, I e-mailed her again and the bird was lost at the 1st y/b race a couple of weeks ago from a race near Paris.

Got a reply by e-mail it belongs to a French lady it seems, called Stephanie Herbin, she thanked me for signalling her pigeon that has found itself at your home, but she lives in France between Cambrai and Valenciennes and its a long from there. Just got a reply from my mate, its from the North of France, Valenciennes, here is there contact e-mail- stephaniss59@hotmail.fr Now thats interesting, because if you look on google earth just where it came from, our pigeons have went up the north of the country before crossing over the channel.

Tried the FCF Website but number comes back as unknown, sent them an e-mail and reported it. Also e-mailed a mate in France with the details to see if he can help out?

Does it have any other ring on apart from the one with the number on?

We held till the sunday Tammy, strong winds on channel they said for saturday. The bird I reported belonged to a mr. cooper from leek, a very nice gentleman, if you know him say hi and glad his hen got back ok.

I got one bird in from the Tewksbury race and I live near gloucester? Only about 10 miles from lib site, the birds never got out of the area by accounts. Did you have a bad race from Carentan last weekend?
