Interesting read this result. Peter murphy has a great team of older pigeons and not a lot of yearlings throughout which os unusual for 80miles but maybe not for an east wind? Well done all
Latebreds are fickle. Ye get them or ye dinny but the percentages are not great in my loft. I have a two yr old mealy that will hopefully get over the pond but some weeks last year, especially atbthe start, he made mistakes.

Not so good the day. Lost on pens to england. My wee yin missed the last pen so she is gutted. She did score a 30yd freekick to make it 2.2 but goal diffo dusnae count in this comp so third/fourth play off the morra
Off to Derby the morra for a week as my lassie is captaining Scotland against England and the other home nations in the annual tournament. Dont think I will manage a loft vivit tho lol. Very proud of her.
Anybody that has the late john carmichael pigeons will undoutedly have some bricoux in them. I remember as a boy asking why the dark cheqs had been brought into kirkpatrick family mainly of reds with a few mealies and he said to keep the distance in the blood butvalso to keep the depth in the red colour that he felt was being diluted as his family became closer bred
