10 stock pairs all down on eggs earlier in the month (was away in Scotland) for a few days returned to find 3 broken eggs . and from those that left had one that didnt hatch. will take some more of the better pairs tho . andy.

i have a white grizzle hen i use as a trapper (well did last season) . the first year i flew widowhood (2005) i was short of hens and took one of my white garden birds to use as a widowhood hen , so yes apart from making the garden look a nicer place to be , they are use-full.(evil). andy.

potentialy a hundred diffrent answers to these questions Scott . and the many combinations of the same . ask those who youve had the parents off what they think the distance is for those specific birds . as to those you dont know about , could send them till they start to come home slow and theyve probably reached their peak . and very best of luck . andy.
