Hereford 2 for me 69 miles (ish) will be sending 8 cocks ,6 that went last week ,+ 2 late breds (their first race) had 5 tosses ,lets hope they make it back ,keeping 1 lb @ home .hopefully he will go next week ?. andy.
i know another member on here that inherited his late fathers birds . he has not introduced anything ,and every so often (from memory about 7 year cycle) they throw pieds. the family are mainly blue checs. andy.
had a yb of a friend die on me after a loft fly , had been ok at 3 races prior to that , i put it down to heart attack . all others were fine . and no health problems before or after . hope this info helps Fraze , andy .
hi Pete , am sure you often think rubbish mate (evil). but i do remember reading an article a few years back where the fancier in question had a magnet fixed to the opening on his basket, each bird going in was held under the magnet for a few seconds (as if to polarise it ?) he won very well with his birds ,am sure this wasnt what made him win . i believe it could be worth a go and may help . maybe some of the older site members could remember . andy.
