I crush 6 cloves into a 2pt bottle let it lie for a few days, this is put into the bath, keeps lice etc from the birds, I have also put some in a spray bottle and spray the loft , you see all the moths etc coming out the cracks, it's also a good spray for keeping green fly from plants, that's where I first got the idea,from a gardening book,
