Tammy I think whoever done a courier pigeon service would have some degree of problems!!! I treid using the phantom flyer and that didnt really suit!!! What we need to do is try help them get it right with constructive advice and reporting of problems because there aint to many coming forward with a nationwide system that will allow pigeons to be send to whole of the UK!!! Tammy I sent out 36 different shipment this week and last week i sent out and recieved 50!!!!! I always do the same. 1)Phone my local branch and place the order!!! 2)Phone the branch local to the collection/deliver and check they have recieved the fax. 3)Get a pack of blank labels from driver and write out the label and stick it on the box before they are collected!!! Not being funny but i have sent out probaly 1000 or more boxs with Amtrak in 18 months and never once a problem!!! As i have said before, get to know your driver and alway get the post code correct!!!!! Stuart

Many of you may know of a Jan Theelen hen called Champion Red Lady, she won 1st Nat Bergerac 7500, plus 2nd Nat Bordeaux and 34th Nat Bordeaux, in her section from 7 flights she won 1st Bergerac, 1st Bergerac, 2nd Bordeaux, 2nd Bergerac and 11th Bergerac with 700 pigeons in her combine/section. he has bred 100's of winners in both Holland, Uk and Ireland. I was lucky enough to obtain this fine old hen a couple years ago and she has left some specail pigeons in my breeding loft. I always promised her that she would never be destroyed and that when the time was right she would be given her freedom!!! On sunday she was sat in the trap and as i walk in she sweeped towards me and i knew what she was saying!!! I slid open the door of the spudnik and with a flash her and her cock flow out. For a couple of minutes she looked 2 years old again wipping around the trees with her big wings before drifting off over Bristol. To me she is the greatest hen i have ever seen or handle not alone owned so i was a little said when her cock returned without her. But didnt need to worry, she was sat safely in her box when i returned home yesterday looking happier than ever!!!

Allround it was a little disapointing, but i think thats down to the stall holders, remeber they bring the entertanment. The room was very cold which help the birds. There was too much ets, people look sick of it already! One positive for us was that Geoff Kirkland spent a 1 hour talking to us on our stand and looked at all the birds, we were overjoyed that he was so impressed with the Lightenberg pigeons that he took a young hen with him and ordered 6 more!!!!! The Welsh show (which is actuall number 1) will be better. Stuart

Due to the high number of orders we recieved for yb’s this year and our wish to honour those orders we will not have yb’s at the the Walsall show. However we will be bringing 50 older birds mainly 2005-2006 stock, I have selected these birds and believe me they will knock your socks off!!! So if you still think your stock can be improved visit our stand!!!!! Stuart

I for one will have ETS, maybe not this year but probaly for next season. My day often consists of up at 5.30am, basket the birds, let out, fed, water and clean out the rest, travel 30 miles down the road and let out my yb team and then hammer to work getting a rollocking for being late. Get home at 5pm, feed the team, some look tired, some look fresh, did they take all day did they have a hrd fly, should they go again tomorrow, well now i can have the answers!!!! Just my Thoughts Stuart
