We are approx 33 mls of witby yorkshire tom , Have seen heeps here last 5 weeks .However last trip i was off humberside on another rig , Some of the boys who shuttle out to the rigs 15 mls off said they are allways pigeons on them aswell. More often than most people think.I have often been told by them once they go on a rig the owner does not want hem back and they are no good ,But that is a story that go,s around all rigs. Hi There atomic I olso did much the same as you did .I kept them as a young lad never racing .Then later in life i will not mention age,I started working on oil rigs of norfolk coast . I olso picked up many strays allways looking out for any and sending them back to land , It did not take much thought.But with help from a fancier i started up again after nearly 30+ years I have no doubt now .Best thing i ever did the joy it brings is second to none. Go ahead and get them in summer house .It will all come back to you soon enough.

Aye John thats 12 i have now. been heavy rain last night they are knackered. They are from all dif races stonehaven dunbar lerwick .I must say the some of the ones from lerwick race are truly best bird iv ever seen .Sould get them back to beach latter on the week , I such a shame the choppers dont take them in . Very over cast low cloud near gale wsw wind it bad enough the cranes are not operational on the rig till after lunch . As that is when the wind is due to drop. We are 60 mls east of cromer norfolk. Good luck is need by any birds flying upn the east coast this morning!
