pete unless its really bad it will heal itself and very quickly best thing to do is lock it in a box with food and water at hand all time and if you have any purple spray or wound powder use either of these on the cut you can get the spray and wound powder at any good equestrian outlet all best stan

i am convinced that they are being overfed and need to know whos in charge get them on barley and use a whistle or rattle the corn tin and any they stay on roof dont get fed i bet within a week you have sorted it and they will be flying but dont get scaring them up its the worst thing you can do all best stan

dont rush them, try cutting the food back a little or add 25% barley to the feed you will soon have them up in the air, if their not flying there is no point taking them up the road as you will lose them all best stan

they will fly the longer races if prepared correctly, last season i had one fly a very hard race over channel 12 hrs on wing and looked like he could have gone on for another few hrs easily ps he is one from formula one lofts
