dont know mate, used it a few years ago when i was getting the birds checked by animal health, but think its all natural stuff in it, i personally think theres better stuff out there to treat cocci and bacterial infections mate .

if there reluctent breeders then maybe they are too fat, put them on barley for 2 weeks before you pair them up, i keep mine on this till the eggs start to chip

Can be used in conjuction with Coxedex. Dosage - Add 20g protril, 5g coxedex to 2ltr of water for 7-10 days, hope this helps
